We begin our segment with news regarding sonic booms heard over the financial district earlier today. Both satellites and cameras posted up around the district caught photos of a young superhuman enjoying flying around the sky whilst breaking the sound barrier. Although the footage is clear as day, the young man has yet to be identified by police with residents in the area making multiple calls to 911 about loud noises over the airspace.
Social media quickly went into a frenzy, deeming the young man as “ Skybound “. Local authorities and the FAA accredit the vigilante with saving the passengers of flight AAF-227, a jetliner making a trip from California to Maine when it was split in half by an unknown phenomenon. Witness report the hero flying laps to bring people safely to the ground, with him eventually setting the plane down safely in a forest clearing.
124 passengers along with 10 crew were safely evacuated with rescue teams awaiting them at JFK. The FAA found nothing explaining how the plane split in half but suspect foul play, with the FBI and DHS being brought in to aid with the investigation. Regardless of how the situation happened, we have Skybound to thank for bringing those passengers and crew back to solid ground.
