Tonight, millions of people within the northern hemisphere spotted a new light flickering in and out of the sky, being emitted from just outside earth’s atmosphere. Satellites from multiple different governments confirmed the bright presence to be none other than Astralman, emitting white light six times brighter then he does within orbit, and floating approximately 93 miles above the eastern coast of the United States. Images confirm that the hero is looking out into space, potentially keeping watch from any sort of threat approaching the planet.
Analyst speculate that this sudden change of behavior was in response to the sightings earlier today of viltrumites lingering just outside of planet earth. This new development also answers questions researchers have had since Astralman arrived on earth, as it’s now believed that he can actually understand human speech and or perceive threats before they even appear. Precognition is the most widely agreed upon theory, with others claiming he might attempting to engage the viltrumites directly should they come back to earth.
Regardless of the circumstances, one thing is certain. The planet has never been a more complex and diverse place, with new superhero’s popping up seemingly everyday you have to wonder, will it be enough to stop what’s coming?
